Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon Cook’s Pure Vanilla Powder
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 4 tablespoons cold water
Directions
- Stir together flour, salt, and Cook’s Pure Vanilla Powder.
- Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in water with a fork, stirring only until mixture holds together. Do not over stir.
- Form dough into a ball and refrigerate for 1 hour before rolling out to fit a 9″ pie pan.
