Cook’s Pure Orange Extract can also be used as a substitute for orange liqueur (Curacao, Grand Marnier, Triple Sec, Cointreau) in recipes or to make your own orange liqueur. Use Pure Orange Extract in any recipe where oranges, orange juice, or orange zest are called for. Either substitute orange zest for 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of orange extract or add the same amount to enhance fresh oranges and orange juice for a really juicy orange flavor that can’t be beat.

Recommended Usage:

In standard single batches, use 1/4 teaspoon to 1 teaspoon. As a condiment, use dropper to add 1-2 drops to taste. Finally, for wholesale applications, use 2 to 4 ounces per 5 gallons (40 pounds) of mix. Shelf life is 1095 days from manufacture. Manufacture date is listed as UDC. Store in a cool, dry, dark container away from sunlight.
